Yom Kippur

On Ken PD Snydecast 181: Caviar Bucket, Dana and Ken talk about Yom Kippur.

Yom Kippur is the holiest day of the year for the Jewish people.

The holy day is observed with a 25-hour period of prayer and fasting. Many Jewish people will spend much of the day in synagogue services.

This sign could be used to warn people not to eat because it is close to Yom Kippur.

You can't eat kippers on Yom Kippur:

Yom Kippur said backwards sounds like "muy rupick" which is Spanish for "lots of rupick." It is unknown what a "rupick" is.

Here is an actual Yom Kippur card:

James Dean wouldn't have to atone. He's not Jewish... or breathing.

All foolishness aside, I wish all who keep holy the day of Yom Kippur the very best.

Gmar Chatimah Tovah!
