On the newest Ken PD Snydecast there is much talk of off model figures at Disney rides.
In fabulous Anaheim California there is an Alice in Wonderland ride.
Ken points out that the Queen is on model:
And "Alice at the end of the table" is also on model:
But the White Rabbit? Fuck him in his off model ass:
Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium. This, dear friends, is the online experience!

Gator Gum
Here's a couple sentences from wikipedia that don't really seem to make sense:
In the late 1970s and early 1980s, as well as the late 90s to early 2000s, a Gatorade brand of chewing gum called Gator Gum was produced. The product, manufactured by Fleer Corporation, was available in both of Gatorade's original flavors (lemon-lime and orange). In the late 1970s, Stokely-Van Camp (owner of Gatorade before 1983) negotiated a long-term licensing deal with Swell and Vicks to market Gator Gum. The gum was discontinued in 1989 after the contract expired.[17][18]
Whatever.
As mentioned on the show, Quench Gum is available in a tub on Amazon.com: http://www.amazon.com/Quench-Gum-Tub-O-Quench-Ounce-Pack/dp/B001IEXQSU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?ie=UTF8

Fez!
On the newest Ken PD Snydecast Ken and Dana chat about fezes.
Y'all know what they are.
From wiki:
The fez (Turkish: fes, plural fezzes or fezes[1]), as well as its equivalent, the tarboosh (Arabic: طربوش / Egyptian Arabic pronunciation: [tˤɑɾˈbuːʃ], ALA-LC: ṭarbūsh), is a felt hat of two types: either in the shape of a truncated cone made of red felt, or a short cylinder made of kilim fabric, both usually with a tassel attached to the top. The tarboosh and the modern fez, which is similar, owes much of its development and popularity to the Ottoman era.[2][3]
Whoop dee shit.
Anyway, wiki also says this:
Several Disney Parks characters are depicted wearing fezzes, including Harrison Hightower of Tokyo Disney Sea's Tower of Terror attraction and Albert, the monkey, of Hong Kong Disneyland's Mystic Manor attraction.
Let's take a look at those two fez wearers:
Harrison Hightower III is the villain of the Tokyo Tower of Terror. He stole treasures from around the world. He is portrayed by Imagineer Joe Rohde.
Joe is famous for creating Expedition Everest and for having so many earrings it causes everything he builds to be sloped to the left.
Here is a ride-through on that attraction.
Mystic Manor is a dark ride attraction in the Mystic Point section of Hong Kong Disneyland. It is only superficially similar to Disneyland's Haunted Mansion attraction. This is a whole different attraction.
Plus it has a monkey named Albert. He wears a fez.

Off Model
On the newest Ken PD Snydecast Ken says that Donald Duck in Gran Fiesta Tour (at EPCOT) is off model.
Here's some crap from wiki:
Off-model is a cartoon character drawn out of par with the original source material or model sheets.[1] Off-model drawings are the products of artists or by cartoonists wishing to parody another franchise but not wishing to incur a lawsuit or commit copyright infringement by actually drawing someone else's trademarked characters. They may also be the result of sloppy work, where the character has noticeable differences in appearance throughout different episodes.
Here's some weird looking Donald Duck photos:

Whotininnies
It's been a long time since the last Snydecast, but recently on Glen Oliver's birthday Ken reminded me of one of his other lapsed podcasts:
Join Ken Plume and Glen Oliver as they take you on a journey beyond geekiness and nerdiness - Well, they pretty much just nerd out geekily and have a bit of a chat about Doctor Who and all things sci-fi.
Listen to them here.
