Milius on EPIX Tomorrow

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #208: Boobknobs And Breadsticks Dana mentions that Jonah Hill had once tweeted about Milius (the documentary Ken is a producer on.)

Ken was unaware of this and then Dana sounded unsure.

But he did tweet about it and tweet boldly.

Back in March he tweeted that it would be his "new favorite documentary."

THE FILM WILL BE ON EPIX TOMORROW. You can watch the promo here:

For instruments, the group used a guitar, a toy piano, a toy xylophone, pots, pans, and jars.[4]

Dana's record collection (part 2)

From Wiki: Phil Silvers (May 11, 1911 – November 1, 1985) was an American entertainer and comedy actor, known as "The King of Chutzpah." He is best known for starring in The Phil Silvers Show, a 1950s sitcom set on a U.S. Army post in which he played Sergeant Bilko.

Yep. That Maya Angelou. Here's what wiki says:  Miss Calypso is a 1957 album by writer and poet Maya Angelou. The album was released during a craze for calypso music catalyzed by Harry Belafonte the previous year. Angelou sings every song on the album, and she composed five of them. Behind Angelou's voice, studio guitarist Tommy Tedesco and percussionist Al Bello created an exotic mood. Angelou toured in support of the album, performing calypso songs in nightclubs. The album was a modest success but Angelou did not make any further records as a singer.
 Enjoy a taste of Diller:

NOTE: William Holden (April 17, 1918 – November 12, 1981) was an American actor. One of the most popular movie stars of all time, Holden was one of the biggest box office draws of the 1950s. Holden won the Academy Award for Best Actor in 1953 for his role in Stalag 17, and a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor for his role in the 1973 television film The Blue Knight.

Holden starred in some of the most popular and critically acclaimed films of all time, including such blockbusters as Sunset Boulevard, The Bridge on the River Kwai, The Wild Bunch, The Towering Inferno, and Network. He was named one of the "Top 10 Stars of the Year" six times (1954–1958, 1961), and appeared on the American Film Institute's AFI's 100 Years…100 Stars list as number 25. (FROM WIKI)

Here's a sample of Bud Fletcher:

Also super rare, but it can be bought on eBay for $10. Signed to someone else.

"We'll call you Omega Dan"

Didja catch this on the newest episode of the Ken PD Snydecast? I can only assume it was an Omega Man joke since they were discussing Dana being alone at Walt Disney World.

I assume Ken was just shortening Dana to Dan... is there a better nerd reference that Google isn't telling me?
