Doc Hammer and Dana Snyder

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #177: Hoard To Tears Dana talks about seeing Doc Hammer at Comic-Con for  "about two minutes"

Dana: I saw Doc for about two minutes at Comic-Con

Ken: I know, those 2 minutes were documented in a single photo.

Dana: Well, actually they're documented in hundreds of photos because every half a step we took someone
was stopping to take their picture with him.

Ken: With both of you, right? Not just him.

Dana: It took literally like 20 minutes to get from the front door to, like, two doors down.

Ken: You need to start rockin' that rock star look. You need to go back with the dyed hair.

Dana: I was even extra-incognito because I had my hat on because of my dyed hair.

Ken: That's not extra incognito for you. Trust me.

Dana: I just look like someone's grandfather then.

Dana Snyder at Comikazeexpo

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #177: Hoard To Tears features talk of Stan Lee. Dana will be appearing at Stan's Comikazeexpo September 15-16, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center!

More on that later, but first:

They talk of people sitting on Stan's lap (like Santa Claus) and they talk of Fake Stan Lee:

He kinda looks like a fake David Arquette:

Here is some footage of Fake Stan Lee:

There was even a meeting between Fake Stan Lee and real Stan Lee.

There is also some talk of Stan Lee's Comikaze:

They read a few bios from the website:

Dana will be a guest at Comikazeexpo September 15-16, 2012 at the Los Angeles Convention Center!

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #177: Hoard To Tears

Dana in Penguins of Madagascar

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Ken mentions Dana's part on Penguins of Madagascar.

Dana plays Leonard, a nervous koala.
The Madagascar wiki (yep, that exists) lists him in the following episodes:
Night and Dazed
Kanga Management
Pets Peeved
The Big Move
The Most Dangerous Game Night
Nighty Night Ninja
Here is, in it's entirety, Kanga Management:

Tributes to Dana Snyder

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Ken and Dana talk about Carol Burnett "pulling her ear lobe" and Shia LeBeouf saying "No No No No No".

Both are a tribute to Dana, who mentored Shia and Carol. Fact.

Danny Devito's troll foot

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Dana mentioned Danny Devito's "troll foot".

This is what Danny Devito calls his foot. He often tweets pictures of it:

You may also remember when Dana and Ken talked about Danny Devito's Twitter picture in the past:

Danny Devito and Richard Griffith's in The Sunshine Boys

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Danny Devito and Richard Griffith's performance in The Sunshine Boys is discussed.

The show is playing at the West End theatre in London.

The Dana Snyder-Danny Devito buddy cop film

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Ken mentions his desire to see a "buddy cop film" starring Dana and Danny Devito.

There have been some wonderful pairings in buddy cop films over the years.

Burt Reynolds and a child:

Pat Morita and Jay Leno:
Chuck Norris and a dog:
Whoppi and an animatronic dinosaur:
They would all pale next to Dana Snyder and Danny Devito:

Dana Snyder's Talking Dennis Miller doll

You may remember when Dana tweeted that he was selling a Talking Dennis Miller doll on eBay:
After some furious bidding I became the heir to Dana Snyder's Talking Dennis Miller doll. It's a great responsibility.

Yesterday he arrived in the mail, so I did something I never thought I would do... an unboxing video. I think now I can count him as a tax write off.

Yes, like a newborn baby emerging from the womb, Dennis Miller shook free of the shackles of packaging.

Well, not want to leave him home alone, I took him with me all day. I mean, what if some burglar burgles him?

Anyway, I took my wife and son to Sesame Place (a local theme park based on Sesame Street) and Talking Dennis Miller came along. Here we are waiting for the parade:

Here he is getting his caricature drawn:

Here he is meeting a pink muppet:
And here's a couple shots of us later at the bar.

Yep, it was Miller time... Talking Dennis Miller time:

The night ended with this tweet:
Who knows what other adventures Dana Snyder's Talking Dennis Miller doll has in store for him?  Maybe I will put him in a box and ship him off to drink beer with Aaron and Brian from Cabin Fever. Perhaps I will ship him to Australia to visit with some of the Aussie Snydecast listeners.

Either way, I wanna ship him somewhere. He's drinking too many of my beers.

Dana's Friend Chip

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Dana mentions that his friend Chip had to learn lines of The Odd Couple in a hurry because the actor that played Oscar was about to be a father.

Unless Dana has more than one friend named Chip he is talking about Chip Duford who appeared on a Snydecast in 2006.

[adult swim]’s Dana Snyder and Ken Plume’s weekly chat podcast returns with a special guest, as Dana is trapped in the midwest with his good buddy Chip Duford in this special 2-part episode.

Playing beer pong with Dana Snyder...

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me Dana mentions playing "beer pong" at a few recent parties.

It reminded me of this tweet I saw in April:

Subsonic Radio

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #176: Groove Me features talk of the Subsonic Radio app for iPhone and iPad.

The app allows users to hear the Epcot Mission Space & Spaceship Earth & Magic Kingdom Space Mountain loops anywhere in the universe.

Actually, you'd need either 3G or wifi so, you probably can't leave earth, but I was in the middle of a "space thing".

The app does start up each time with a modified Main Street Electrical Parade intro (as heard on the podcast.)

Plus, like Dana, you can sleep to it and drift off to dreams of Briar Patches and Country Bears. Just set the timer:

It's in the iTunes store or find it online at subsonicradio.com.
