Country Bear Jamboree tribute

On Ken PD Snydecast 181: Caviar Bucket, Ken and Dana talk about the Winnie the Pooh ride at the Disney parks.

In Anaheim, the attraction replaced The Country Bear Jamboree. As a tribute to the show, the Winnie the Pooh ride has the mounted heads of Melvin, Buff and Max hanging lifeless on the wall.

Here is a video that shows where the characters are hidden.

In the show, the characters used to talk and sing (they still do in Florida) but now they just stare lifelessly at the tourists.

Here is an old video of the characters at the Mile Long Bar:

Thank you for posting this! I was wondering how the talking heads looked in the Pooh ride. A lot of sites have photos of the heads, but don't show how they connect to the current ride. Your 15-second video resolved that for me! :)

I'm a little confused about the Mile High Bar. (I don't know much about Disney parks history.) Did the characters move to the bar after the Country Bear Jamboree went away? Or did they run concurrent with it?
