I Googled "dragoncon 2009 dana snyder" and I found some images of Ken and Dana at the convention but I also found this picture and decided to post it instead:
Anyway, this particular episode of the Ken P. D. Snydecast actually started on an episode of Nuts on the Road. You can hear that episode, hosted by Ken Plume and Widget Walls, here. It features some really funny chit chat, karaoke and talk of a movie starring George Burns, Kirk Cameron, Jesus and a banana.
The end of that show flows seamlessly (in the most abrupt way possible) into KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #113: Nuts On The Snyde Part 2.
Dana shows up to tell us about the most wonderful place... the hotel's bathroom.
Dana had just returned from there and was surprised that each stall had a real door and was like "a little room".
This is probably the most specific description of a bathroom on a podcast since the marine toilet in KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #69: One Fish Two Fish.
Of course, since then there has been KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #139: Glass Toilet which spends even more time talking about the toilet... man, this is one weird show!
The toilet talk is very funny and leads into great talk of hair transplants and how they put balloons under the skin to stretch it out so that you can have room for the new hair.
The show ends with a Plumey "sigh" competition. A video of this part of the podcast is on youtube:
The live audience really makes the show EVEN funnier. It's definitely worth
another listen!
Also on youtube you can watch a delightful interview that Dana gave to CW 13 Savannah at the 2009 Dragon*Con. It starts out like an ordinary interview but then Dana and the reporter act out a clichéd 1980s movie and then Dana cuts one of the greatest promos EVER:
