a closer look: Musso and Franks

One of the most mentioned topics of The Ken P. D. Snydecast is the time Ken and Dana dined at Musso and Frank Grill in Hollywood, California.

Musso and Frank is the oldest restaurant in Hollywood and is located on the Walk of Fame (where the sidewalk has stars with celebrities names on it.)

Musso and Frank opened in 1919 under the name Frank's Cafe and soon became a legendary dining spot for writers, actors and Ken & Dana.

Dana is fond of Musso and Frank but Ken was not pleased with the restaurant.

The menu (which has changed little over the years) is frequently mocked by Ken... especially the stuffed celery.

Ken has also mentioned how "elderly" the staff was.

It is true, you won't find any waiters here that are working your way through college.

You can read the restaurant's menu online by clicking here.

If you are in the Hollywood area I suggest you stop by. Try the diplomat pudding... and tell 'em Plumey sent you!
