James Bond

Earlier today Ken tweeted the following:
Ken has tweeted about James Bond before. Back in 2012 he tweeted:

Ken also Tweeted after watching a 1973 James Bond adventure:

Watched Live And Let Die. Had forgotten how casually, almost suavely racist it is.

Still shocked by how racist Live & Let Die is. Then remembered the BBC was still airing The Black & White Minstrel Show in 1973.

Speaking of James Bond, on  KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #194: Alpining For The Ski Bores Dana mentions that he didn't get to visit Telly Savalas' Mountaintop Lair!

Made famous in the James Bond film On Her Majesty's Secret Service, this resort served as the hideout for Telly Savalas' character Blofeld.

It is a revolving restuarant named Piz Gloria. According to Wiki "on the Schilthorn near Mürren in the Bernese Oberland, Switzerland."

When Bond location scouts found the restaurant it was only partially finished. In order to film there, the production paid to furnish the restaurant. It is still open today and is a popular tourist attraction.
