On the newest Ken PD Snydecast Ken and Dana talk about Cuddlr! It's a real thing!
Salon, The Huffington Post, MTV, and the rest of the Internet has been a buzz with talk of cuddling with strangers.
The founder, Williams (I don't remember his first name) says he has 152,000 downloads so far.
I downloaded it. It looks amazing!
You just input your name and a photo and you see people that are cuddle matches!
It's gonna be great!
Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium. This, dear friends, is the online experience!

Michael Jordan's Twitter
On the newest Ken P. D. Snydecast Michael Jordan's fake Twitter account is mentioned.
The account was originally mentioned on KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #143: Guess Who and KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #144: Guess Who Two. On those two episodes Ken played 20+ questions with Dana regarding Michael Jordan's Twitter account.
If you haven't heard this episode, Dana was looking at Michael Jordan's Twitter page and noticed the four people he was following:
Oprah, Shaq, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson and film director David Lynch.
David Lynch was such an unusual choice that Dana spent over 30 minutes making Ken guess
and guess
and guess.
I was mentioned in an iTunes review:
If you were listening to the episodes at the time (April 2010) and didn't look up Michael Jordan's Twitter page it was a fun game to guess along with.
If you look up Micheal Jordan's Twitter page today you won't find it... at least the one Dana was reading from.
That account turned out to be a FAKE. It was full of posts that seemed slightly off the wall - but not enough to be sure it was a parody.
The account was eventually suspended by Twitter, but not before it put out dozens of marvelously weird tweets.

#143 *****I wouldn't call it painful, though. Ken's despair and Dana's insistence on his continuing with the guessing game makes it a very fun listen.

Love the podcast guys! Keep it up. It really is funny and a good listen that doesn't go over an hour. You'll enjoy it if you like random humor. However podcast #143 was painful... The rest is fantastic!

Egg McMuffin vs Sausage McMuffin with Egg
The Egg McMuffin is 300 calories. The Sausage McMuffin with Egg is 450. That's a huge increase by swapping the Canadian bacon for sausage.
The reason for the wordy name Sausage McMuffin with Egg is that McDonalds also sells a Sausage McMuffin which is just sausage and cheese on the English muffin. It's still 70 calories MORE than the Egg McMuffin.

The World's Largest Entertainment McDonalds!
On the newest Ken PD Snydecast Ken and Dana talk about The World's Largest Entertainment McDonalds.
It's a very large McDonalds located on 6875 Sand Lake Rd. (at the corner of I Drive) in Orlando Florida.
Inside there is an animatronic Mac Tonight.
On the show, Ken sends Dana a photo of his lunch from the McDonalds. Here is the photo:

Mac was a burger pitchman for the company in a series of commercials:

Of note, this McDonalds is not the one near the All Star Resorts on Disney property. That one used to look like this:
Because of Disney's desire to not directly market McDonalds food to kids, the place had a recent makeover and looks like this:

Al Lewis in Goodbye America
Here is an interesting documentary, It's Al Lewis telling his life story as he gets makeup put on for an appearance inter-cut with footage of what he's talking about.
He claims to be 92 in it which would mean it was recorded in 2002 (he lied about his age and he really died at the age of 82.)

Richter's Burgers
Ken tweeted this recently:
Andy Richter is the co-host of Conan O'Brien talk show and is a one time guest on A Bit of a Chat:
He had an Italian restaurant in NY:
Alan Hale Jr. was The Skipper on Gilligan's Island an he owned a restaurant called Skipper Alan Hale's Lobster Barrel.
On Ken P. D. Snydecast #163: Holiday Shebangery Dana mentioned eating the the Spanish Kitchen a restaurant that was once Skipper Alan Hale's Lobster Barrel.
There are few things in life I could imagine that would be as good as having a lobster with the Skipper.
Alan Hale was the son of a very successful movie actor also named Alan Hale. And, as Ken mentioned on the podcast, they were almost identical:
The elder Hale was born Rufus Edward MacKahan when he entered the movie business he went by the name Alan Hale. When his son was born he named him Alan Hale MacKahan.
The younger Hale then followed in his fathers footsteps under the name Alan Hale Jr. After his father passed away he dropped the “Jr.”
Anyway, the restaurant was located smack dab in the middle of the tourist area of Hollywood. Skipper Alan Hale’s lobster barrel offered patrons steak and seafood served by tuxedo-clad waiters for moderate prices. It was only open for dinner (5pm to 10:30pm, 1am on the weekends.)

DragonCon Snydecast Panel
DragonCon 2014 has come and gone. I was lucky enough to go and see Dana and Ken. I was also part of a live recorded Snydecast that was done in one of the panel rooms:
The show was supposed to be a look back at the show's history, but ended up being about Dana's "arrest" in college and a raucous game of Kitty in the Corner.
