The Jack Benny Show "Jack's Maxwell Is Stolen"

If you are a long time listener to the Ken P. D. Snydecast, you have certainly heard Ken and Dana talk about their fondness of Mr. Jack Benny.

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #53: Fleet Feet And All You Can Eat starts off with Ken's impersonation of Eddie "Rochester" Anderson (Jack Benny's valet on the radio and TV series The Jack Benny Show.)
Then the boys discuss Jack's comedy techniques and what made him so successful.

On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #142: iFail Dana discusses his purchase of an iPad. At around the 12 minute mark Ken breaks into an impression of Jack Benny and Rochester at the Apple store.

More recently Dana discussed his birthday in KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #160: Scratch Fever and his desire to follow in Benny's footsteps when it comes to mentioning his age.
Jack Benny famously always said he was 39 years old no matter how old he was.

Here is an episode of Jack's wonderful TV show entitled "Jack's Maxwell Is Stolen."

Incidentally, Maxwell was a brand of automobile from 1904 to 1929. Here is a photo of Jack in a 1906 Maxwell:

The photo originally appeared on this site with the following caption:

View of Jack Benny, on his first visit to Anaheim, riding with Santa Ana Superior Court Judge Raymond H. Thompson in a 1906 Maxwell automobile (with sign proclaiming "Jack Benny's Maxwell" in front window) along the parade route for Anaheim's "Civic Progress Week" celebration; route started at Palm and Center Streets (now Harbor and Lincoln Blvds.) and ended at the Elks Club (423 N. Los Angeles Street, now Anaheim Blvd.); excited residents surrounding the car include (at left side) six-year-old David Faessel, Anaheim Police Officer Joe Miranda (out of uniform) and Frank Belmont, owner of the Granada Packing House.

Jack Benny also had a 1916 (some say 1917) Maxwell:

That car (with a few wax figures) has been on display at the California Automotive Museum in Sacramento and elsewhere:
