When I heard about her loss of a leg, she was still fairly frequently seen on TV, which made me wonder if I just had not noticed something. Like someone -might- not notice Sammy Davis Jr, Sandy Duncan, Rex Harrison or Peter Falk had glass eyes, and be totally surprised.
