Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium. This, dear friends, is the online experience!

Out of the vault! KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #74: The Yule Teeth
KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #74: The Yule Teeth is one of the most jam packed, crazy, holiday episodes that Ken and Dana have every slapped together.
It starts off with a wonderfully wacky version of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer done by Plumey.
Then the show starts... without Dana! In his place is Santa Claus:
Ken: I am your merry yuletide jingler, Ken Plume.
Santa: And I am Santa Claus
Ken: You're not really Santa Claus
Santa: Oh, ho ho ho! I am, Ken! You've been a naughty boy this year!
Ken: Prove it.
Santa: I see everything, Ken.
Ken: What kind of twisted, perverted man are you?
Santa: I know what you do in the bathroom with your whatnot Muppet. It disturbs me, ho ho ho ho, to no end!
Santa then talks about his favorite cocktail: Cookies and Milk.
Eventually Mr. Snyder surfaces and explains that Santa is staying at the Snyde-mansion and he tells us about the humongous #2s that Santa has left in the Snyde-toilet.
Later in the show Dana leaves Ken alone to fill time. In a stroke of brilliance Ken introduces us all to the Chattering Yule Teeth. It's a riot.
Before the show ends, Dana takes out his ukulele and the boys delight us all with some Christmas carols.
Your holiday will not be complete unless you drop what you are doing and give KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #74: The Yule Teeth another listen.

KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #233: Shoo Fly
Hey gang! New episode is up and it's an odd little one: Ken PD Snydecast 233!
The episode is titled 'Shoo Fly' which is the second time an episode was titled 'Shoo Fly!'
Episode 112 also had that title and features Dana, Ken and Aaron Poole driving around Atlanta (over the 2009 DragonCon weekend.)
This episode was recorded on Sunday Morning, October 9th at around 11:30am at Hector's Cafe and Diner on Washington Street in NYC.
Since I was actually there I have the unique ability to provide you with several unnecessary details about the recording.
Dana, Ken and I had just finished breakfast. We each ordered corned beef hash and two eggs. Dana ordered a bagel "an everything bagel, or a plain bagel... whatever... I just don't want some cinnamon raisin bagel or something sweet like that."
They had Trappey's hot sauce on the table.
17:07 After MASH is mentioned.
You can hear me sing about After MASH here.
18:11 Dana mentions that window washers are ordering food in the diner. They had all the safety straps attached to their clothes.
Here is a photo from breakfast:

The urinal in the men's room was unusually high.
Ok. Ready? Start listening: Ken PD Snydecast 233!
00:00 Ken starts with the plug for the CD. Get your's now!
01:41 Show starts, recorded on Ken's iPhone.
02:15 The debate over Dana's punctuality continues from prior to the recording.
Dana had missed dinner with Ken the night before (which we hear all about later.) Dana had texted me late in the night telling me to meet him at 10am. I texted him in the morning and when I arrived in the lobby but the texts were not seen...
02:41 Text weren't seen because Dana was using iMessage. So I got to spend extra time playing Q-Bert on my phone in the lobby.
02:49 Tweet mentioned on the podcast:
03:07 Dana mentions that the shower in his hotel room is open to the entire room. Here's a photo of one of the rooms at the hotel:
The hotel also has public bathrooms that are visible to people on the street:
It's a weird, pervy hotel.
03:29 Dana mentions that he has a bottle of Prosecco for me. It's Italian champagne. I mention that we should have had it yesterday when we drank the mini bar vodka:
This was during a recording of Drunk On Disney which you can listen to here.
03:34 Brief discussion of paying the bill with my debit card. We had worried that it was cash only because they had a a shady looking ATM.
04:05 We start to talk about 'the con' which was New York City Comic Con. It was Dana's (and my) first time at this convention.
04:34 We are talking about cell phone credit card holders:
I have one from my bank and Dana's father bought one in Asia.
04:48 I mention that because I use a Samsung phone I carry spare batteries rather than a charging cable so I can pop out the battery when it drains and charge it in a wall charger:
05:43 I mention the episode where Doc Hammer co-hosted and how despite how good the co-host is you never want to listen to a Snydecast without Ken and Dana.
06:20 Mike Broder arrives. Mike runs several conventions including Florida Supercon which will be held next in July 2017, Raleigh Supercon which will also be in July and Paradise City Comic Con which will be held December 9-11, 2016. Dana and I appear at all three of the cons. Come see us!
07:36 they talk about the Brooklyn–Battery Tunnel which is officially known as the Hugh L. Carey Tunnel (a fact we didn't know during the show.)
Hugh Leo Carey (April 11, 1919 – August 7, 2011) was an American politician and attorney. He served as a seven-term (1961–1974) United States Representative, as well as 51st Governor of New York from 1975 to 1982.
09:49 Saturday Night's dinner fiasco is discussed. Dana didn't show to dinner with Mike and Ken and instead ate on Leroy Street with Melissa Warrenburg.
11:14 The 'Lisa' mentioned is actress and comedian Lisa Corrao:
12:08 Mike mentions his bar:
12:56 Dana mentions that he was at Big Apple Convention years ago:
13:56 @YoloWarrenburg
15:19 Mike mentions the Disney history panels I do at conventions (email me at drunkondisney@gmail.com for bookings!)
15:25 Navarro and Eadler are a couple of awesome Jons that attend lots of the stuff Dana and I do:
15:51 the last episode of M*A*S*H is mentioned. "M*A*S*H" Goodbye, Farewell, and Amen (TV Episode 1983)
17:01 The show W*A*L*T*E*R is mentioned:
17:07 After MASH is mentioned.
You can hear me sing about After MASH here.
18:11 Dana mentions that window washers are ordering food in the diner. They had all the safety straps attached to their clothes.

Nachos!
From wiki:
Nachos originated in the city of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico, just over the border from Eagle Pass, Texas.[3][4] In 1943, the wives of U.S. soldiers stationed at Fort Duncan in nearby Eagle Pass were in Piedras Negras on a shopping trip, and arrived at the restaurant after it had already closed for the day. The maître d'hôtel, Ignacio "Nacho" Anaya, invented a new snack for them with what little he had available in the kitchen: tortillas and cheese. Anaya cut the tortillas into triangles, fried them, added shredded cheddar cheese, quickly heated them, added sliced pickled jalapeño peppers,[Note 1] and served them.

Biphasic and polyphasic sleep
In case you wanted to read more about the sleep stuff Dana and Ken were chatting about:
Biphasic sleep (or bimodal or bifurcated sleep) is the practice of sleeping during two periods over 24 hours, while polyphasic sleep refers to sleeping multiple times - usually more than two.[1] Each of these is in contrast to monophasic sleep which is one period of sleep over 24 hours. Segmented sleep and divided sleep may refer to polyphasic or biphasic sleep, but may also refer to interrupted sleep where the sleep has one or several shorter periods of wakefulness. A common form of biphasic or polyphasic sleep includes a nap, which is a short period of sleep, typically taken between the hours of 9am and 9pm as an adjunct to the usual nocturnal sleep period.
The term polyphasic sleep was first used in the early 20th century by psychologist J. S. Szymanski, who observed daily fluctuations in activity patterns (Stampi 1992). It does not imply any particular sleep schedule. The circadian rhythm disorder known as irregular sleep-wake syndrome is an example of polyphasic sleep in humans. Polyphasic sleep is common in many animals, and is believed to be the ancestral sleep state for mammals, although simians are monophasic.[2]
The term polyphasic sleep is also currently used by an online community that experiments with alternative sleeping schedules to achieve more time awake each day. However, researchers such as Piotr Woźniak warn that such forms of sleep deprivation are not healthy.[3] While many claim that polyphasic sleep was widely used by some polymaths and prominent people such as Leonardo da Vinci, Napoleon, or Nikola Tesla, there are few reliable sources supporting that view.[4]

The Warner Brothers store
On the newest Ken PD Snydecast Dana mentions the Las Vegas Warner Bros Store:
1998 © Pedro Meyer
From wiki: The Warner Bros. Studio Store was a chain of retail stores selling Looney Tunes and other merchandise based on Warner Bros. films, similar in style to The Disney Store. They first opened in 1991.
In 1996, Warner Bros. owner Time Warner merged with Turner Broadcasting, which owned Hanna-Barbera and the pre-1986 MGM library, and merchandise based on Turner properties were added to the product lines.
In 2001, all Warner Bros. Studio Stores went out of business.
