Here is a video that popped up on YouTube recently. It shows Dana and Dave Willis on stage doing the Aqua Teen Hunger Force live production.
It looks like it was an amazing show:
No embedding allowed on this clip, so click here to watch it.
Here is another video that's new to YouTube it shows some goofball interviewing Snydely at the Florida SuperCon this 4th of July:
The video just cuts off abruptly and they tell you to check out these other videos for the rest of the clip.
I checked 'em out. Dana isn't in them. So take the take the time you would have spent watching that and watch this video where a cat fights an alligator:
Adult Swim’s Dana Snyder and FRED’s Ken Plume set out to have a literate conversation between two pals, but inevitably devolve into a verbal, and funny, free-for-all full of bickering, infighting, and the special kind of male bonding that comes from conflict expressed through the podcast medium. This, dear friends, is the online experience!

Mystery Followup #2
You may remember this letter I posted recently:
I have recieved another email from Hank that sheds much more light on the reasons he wanted to revisit those episodes. I have included that email below:
Dr. Wienerbreath,
Thanks for the help! Sorry I didn't email you back earlier, I've been very busy.
Turns out the episode I was thinking of was #18: Flyover States Part 2. I did try and listen to it before when searching but wasn't patient enough to listen to it all the way through.
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2920754/snydecast%20email.mp3
I cut together the 3 times they mentioned it, may have been more but again, didn't have the patience to listen to all of it since the audio was so poor back then! Anyways- The reason I wanted to find this again is because I'm that asshole emailer! Wow, can't believe that was in 2006. I barely even knew what a podcast was back then, I think it may have been the only one I listened to, definitely the only one I listened to regularly. I was young and bored, and decided to write a terribly mean email. They mention that it was sarcastic, and I believe it was. I was TRYING to be funny. I'm not sure how funny it actually was, I would try to search out the email but I'm afraid it would just embarrass me. My days of trolling podcasts is long over (that's the only time!). I remember when I was listening to the podcast I was shocked to hear them talk about the email and I felt bad as soon as I realized I hurt Dana's feelings. But the conversation did amuse me a bit.. I remember at the time hoping he would mention one thing I said and I'm curious if the part where he talks about his feelings being hurt was that one thing. I think said something along the lines that the only good work he's ever done that was any good involved Dave Willis. At the time I only remember him from Minoriteam and Venture Bros, and all of his other work was from Aqua Teen, Squidbillies, and I can't remember what else but it all involved Dave. Obviously it wasn't true, Venture Bros was great and he was very good on Minoriteam (but.. not my favorite show..). So, yeah. I'm not surprised I'm the only one that remembers this because it wasn't that significant. But that's the story on why I wanted to hear that audio.
I also cut the elevator audio: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/2920754/elevatorsnydecasttalk.mp3
This was a MUCH shorter conversation than I remember. Probably because after this podcast I started to have a slight obsession with these videos and these people. I've never taken my obsession as far as actually contacting any of them or doing my own elevator videos.. I'm just fascinated. I would love to do a documentary on these people, I think there really is something there. If only I had the funding! Anyways a couple of days ago I was bored and decided to look up these videos again randomly and I noticed that these people started teaming up to do elevator videos! The first thing I thought was.. I have to sync these together....
Here are two I edited together. One of these features musicfreakcc (mentioned on the snydecast), they both feature dieselducy. I forgot who the other guy is.
Anyways, thanks for the help. I didn't expect this to be such a long email. I enjoy your blog, I haven't been keeping up in a while. It makes me miss the Snydecast. I wonder if they ever plan on starting it back up again. Feel free to post any of the audio or whatever to the blog (if it's any interesting at all).
Thanks again,
Hank
Dear Dr Wienerbreath,
Hi! I'm trying to find two episodes of the snydecast. Since
you're the expert I was wondering if you could point me towards them.
One is the episode where Dana was talking about the elevator
videos on youtube. The other one might be more difficult- it was one where Dana
was talking about an email he received that really hurt his feelings. He
mentions it a bunch of times throughout the episode, but they never actually
read the email. I believe there was a guest (I'm not sure who) and it MAY have
been a double episode. If you can help me out on this I would be extremely
grateful!
Thanks for the help,
Hank

Walt Disney's A Visit to Disneyland
Here is some info and pictures from imaginerding.com
The text is presented in verse form and follows most of the main lands and attractions available in 1965. There are pictures from the park and illustrations by Stan Tusan (and have a very primitive Mary Blair feel). The illustrations show two young children enjoying the park. They are shown in the background visiting the same attractions as we read about them.

Mystery followup
Yesterday we took a look an email from a listener named Hank.
Hank asked for a couple of Snydecast episodes, one that he said "it was one where Dana was talking about an email he received that really hurt his feelings. He mentions it a bunch of times throughout the episode, but they never actually read the email. I believe there was a guest (I'm not sure who) and it MAY have been a double episode. If you can help me out on this I would be extremely grateful!"
I wasn't able to find this one so I asked the readers. Among the responses was this comment:
I took another listen to Ken P.D. Snydecast #114: Baby Driver and this MAY be the one.
In this episode Dana talks about a DragonCon volunteer that though Dana was an A**hole.
Dana had never met this person and was really bothered by it.
The segment in question appears at one hour and 8 minutes in to the episode.
Take another listen and see if you think it fits the description:

A Snydecast Mystery
Recently I got the following email:
The other one is harder to figure out.
I have been listening to the double episodes and the episodes with guests, but I cannot find it.
Any ideas? Can you solve the mystery?

Dana Snyder to appear at D23 TOMORROW
The boys lit up Twitter last night with some newsworthy Tweets.
First was Dana making a rare Twitter appearance:
Yep, you can see Dana in person at the D23 Expo tomorrow at 3pm!
D23 is the biggest Disney convention you could imagine.
All the stars are there and you can catch glimpses of new shows, movies and new theme park attractions.
Speaking of which, D23 is in Anaheim (home to Disneyland) and if you aren't able to get a ticket to D23, I will bet you dollars to doughnuts you can find Dana in line for the Casey Jr. Circus Train at 4:15pm.
Plus Dana's wife will be at D23:
I am sure she will be happy to see members of the Snydecast "television audience".
Meanwhile, Ken sent out a tweet about DragonCon with info on a panel he will be taking part in:
Plus, Ken told us about upcoming episodes of "A Bit of a Chat":

a closer look: Donald Moffat
On KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #110: This Man, This McNugget Ken and Dana are talking about Inglorious Bastards and actor Christoph Waltz in particular:
Dana: You know what's really weird, he kind of reminds me of a younger Donald Moffat if we really wanna alienate all our listeners...
We shouldn't feel alienated. Donald Moffat has appeared in over 100 films and TV shows and I am sure you remember his eyebrows from some movie.
I will never forget him singing "Hitler Has Only Got One Ball" in the film Evening Star. I wish that clip was online.
Let's take a minute to admire Mr. Donald Moffat.
Donald Moffat. Don't ever tie him to a couch:

VIDEO: Dana in Come on Over
Here is a great YouTube video designed to promote the TV series Come on Over. According to Wikipedia (which is some kind of thing on the internet that has some facts... but very little Plume) the show is:
Take a look:
At about 2:07 you get to see Snydley act in a sequence with the legendary Ruth Buzzi!
And here is another clip. Dana sings a delightfully fun children's song "If I Were a Bee":
...a children's television series produced by the Grand Rapids Children's Museum in association with Enthusiastic Productions. The series was created by Joel Schoon Tanis, and is executive produced by Tanis, Patrick W. Ziegler, and Teresa L. Thome of the Museum. The mission of the show is to "inspire creativity and imagination in children".

A Bit of a Chat w/ Ricky Gervais
Last night Ken tweeted to tell us a new "A Bit of a Chat" was available:
Ricky needs no description or career highlights for you to know WHO he is. He's famous.
But I will remind you that he was discussed in detail on Ken P. D. Snydecast #168: Rising Snyde.
On that episode Dana and Ken talked about his Noah routine:

Ken posted this on his Twitter last night....
No shame necessary, Ken. Fletch is a classic.
Here are a bunch of clips from YouTube.
If you haven't seen the movie, YOU should be ashamed.
Here is the original trailer for Fletch. It's fun to watch. It has that odd 1980s feel and voice over that inspires instant nostalgia in those of us over 30:

Musical Snydecast intros
It doesn't happen much anymore, but the Ken PD Snydecast has often opened with a song. Sometimes it's a novelty song, sometimes it's not.
Sometimes it has something to do with the topic of the show, sometimes it doesn't.
Sometimes it's a song called "Sometimes A Song" by Dan Fogelberg... actually, sadly they never used that one.
Anyway, here is a look at some of those tunes:
KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #65: The Amazing Kazobo opens with 'My Brother Makes The Noises For The Talkies' by Neil Innes' Bonzo Dog Doo-Dah Band:
KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #37: Giving Until It Hurts also kicks off with a Neil Innes tune... this time Take Away.
Here is the clever video from that tune:
KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #38: Running On Empty kicks off with Vivian Stanshall crooning The Cracks Are Showing:
Finally KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #44: Fat Sam’s Grand Slam Speakeasy opens with, what else, Fat Sam's Grand Slam Speakeasy from the movie Bugsy Malone (talked about at length in that episode).
Here is the song as it appears in that flick:

DragonCon 2009: American Sigh-dol
Over on aaronfever.blogspot.com a delightful video has been posted featuring Dana and Ken involved in an epic display of foolishness at DragonCon 2009.
This video is actually a small section of the live Snydecast KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #113: Nuts On The Snyde Part 2.
Anyway, this particular episode of the Ken P. D. Snydecast actually started on an episode of Nuts on the Road. You can hear that episode, hosted by Ken Plume and Widget Walls, here. It features some really funny chit chat, karaoke and talk of a movie starring George Burns, Kirk Cameron, Jesus and a banana.
The end of that show flows seamlessly (in the most abrupt way possible) into KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #113: Nuts On The Snyde Part 2.
After much talk of toilets and hair transplant balloons the show ends with a Plumey "sigh" competition. The sigh competition, titled American Sigh-dol, was thankfully captured on video and posted on aaronfever.blogspot.com. You can find that orignal post here and the video below:
Remember, DragonCon is coming up September 2-5, 2011. Plumey will be there IN PERSON... and as an added bonus if you see Aaron Poole HE WILL HUG YOU!
Make sure and check out Aaron's blog and Twitter feed. He's funnier than army of clowns trying to get box cutter-shaped whoopee cushions past airport security.

VIDEO: DragonCon 2010 Panel
Jon from theuniquegeek.com clued me in to a fantastic series of posts that have been going up on that site. It's a 50 day countdown that to hype everyone up for the upcoming DaragonCon.
As part of the countdown a couple videos featuring Ken and Dana have surfaced from DragonCon 2010.
You can see the original posts here and here.
The videos were taped during a wacky star studded DragonCon panel (playing the old game show Liars Club.) On the panel are some MST3K alumni, Misty Lee, Adam Savage and the inimitable Dana Snyder.
The panel is hosted by the great Ken Plume and Widget Walls is there, but I don't think he does or says anything in either of the clips.
This panel was mentioned on KEN P.D. SNYDECAST #152: So, Where Were We.
Dana was talking to Ken about how people were eating caffeinated marshmallows on the panel:
Yeah, you better see the video...
One thing that I noticed during the panel was what everyone was drinking:
YEEEEAAAAHHHH DANA! That's why we love him so.
BTW, here is a clip from the TV game show Liar's Club featuring Tom Bosley, Harvey Korman and Bob Krane:
Go ahead and follow the countdown on theuniquegeek.com... and while you are following things, follow Jon over on Twitter as well.

Ken Plume to appear at DragonCon September 2-5, 2011
The DragonCon convention, which has become a gathering of Snydecast fans and personalities, will be taking place on September 2-5, 2011.
Ken Plume is on the guest list along with Paul & Storm and more celebrities than you could shake a stick at... and cops don't usually like when you shake sticks at celebrities in Atlanta anyway.
Gas up the car, get plane tickets or start walking... just get to Atlanta for DragonCon from September 2-5, 2011.

A Bit of a Chat with Ken Plume & Benari Poulten
Ken put up a new Bit of a Chat over at asitecalledfred.com.
This is a fun listen, Benari Poulten speaks to Ken from Afghanistan right near a "poop pond".
Here is Benari's bio from his site:
Benari Poulten is a writer and a stand-up comedian in New York City. He has an MFA in Dramatic Writing at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts, making him a Master of the Fine Arts. And he's a Sergeant First Class in the US Army Reserve, who recently returned from Baghdad. For reals. The thoughts and opinions expressed here are his own and in NO WAY represent the views of the United States, the U.S. military, DoD, or any official organization. That much should already be obvious, though.Take a listen to this ASAP. It feels good to hear Ken have a chat with SOMEONE since it's been 103 days since we least heard him chatting with Snydely.
